Working with Optical Express for over 25 years, Lisa has a wealth of
knowledge and experience within the world of optometry.
Qualifying in 1997, and completing her degree in Caledonian University, Lisa is a pivotal player in our clinical team. Providing patients with excellent customer care is number one priority for our team in Optical Express.
Lisa had numerous job functions while working at Optical Express.
She worked as our Optometry Development Manager and ran the pre-registration programme which entailed training up new and upcoming
optometrists. She has had numerous pre-registration students - sharing her expert knowledge, training and mentioning them to become qualified optometrists, many of whom still work at Optical Express.
She is also part of our surgery support team often being on call to assist and offer her professional opinion on any queries from other optometrists and ophthalmologists within Optical Express.
In 2018, Lisa completed her Independent Prescribing qualification which gives her the skills and knowledge to manage many eye conditions at community level without having to refer patients to visit a Doctor in Hospital.
