Paul Morrison

One of our experienced optometrists Paul Morrison, works in our state of the art clinic in Glasgow, where he is a key team player working alongside other expert clinicians to provide the highest quality of patient care.

Paul qualified in 2014 from the Glasgow Caledonian University and since working at Optical Express has gained his Independent Prescribing (IP) certificate which enables him to manage many eye conditions at community level without the need to refer patient s to an eye doctor at a hospital.

As well as being an IP optometrist, Paul is also part of the Clinical Services team since 2019 and the Surgery Support team since 2021. Being part of the surgery support team enables Paul to assist ophthalmic surgeons by preparing patients for their laser eye surgery, cataract and lens replacement surgery procedures.

His clinical knowledge and practice involves diagnosing, managing and providing treatment plans for a range of eye conditions and diseases. Paul has completed his training in YAG Laser Capsulotomy and can confidently carry out YAG Capsulotomy procedures.
