Sejal Patel

Our Senior Optometrist, Sejal Patel, is a highly driven and ambitious professional with a vast range of experience within the field of optometry.

After obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Optometry from Birmingham University in 2007, Sejal developed a keen interest in refractive surgery and now specialises in performing pre and post-operative assessments for patients undergoing laser, intraocular lens and cataract surgery. As well as this, she assists our Ophthalmic Surgeons in complex cases and is also a key member of our Surgery Support Team, often being on call to assist and offer her professional opinion on any queries from other optometrist and ophthalmologists within Optical Express. 

Sejal is also one of our esteemed Optometry Development Managers, where she successfully manages a team of optometrists to ensure that best clinical practices are consistently being followed throughout our clinics. She has also completed the qualification in Independent Prescribing and takes an active interest in the mentorship of up and coming optometrists.
