With an Ophthalmology career spanning over a decade, Mr Adnaan Haq is a prominent authority in cases of lens replacement cataract and medical glaucoma.
After gaining his degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from St George’s University of London in 2013, he proceeded to dedicate himself in the field of Ophthalmology – achieving a research fellowship from Leicester University Hospital. He has previously held a locum positon at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital’s A&E department and is currently a substantive consultant at Central Middlesex Hospital.
Professional development has been a particular focus throughout Mr Haq’s career; he is a mentor and supervisor for Ophthalmic practitioner’s training and has he has been responsible for teaching medical students, nurses and optometrists in clinical practices. Mr Haq has subsequently gained his PGCert in medical education in 2023.
Furthering this commitment, he has co-authored a wide range of peer-reviewed research publications – presenting the findings at esteemed conferences across Europe, actively contributing to advancements in knowledge for himself and his peers.
