  • Your eyes will be tested at this consultation

    A regular eye test will be carried out as well as a state-of-the-art iScan to allow us to check your suitability for treatment.

  • Leave enough time for your appointment

    In order to carry out the consultation thoroughly, please allow 90 minutes for your appointment.

  • Driving not recommended

    It is important you make arrangements for your journey home from the clinic, as your optometrist will use eye drops which may make your vision blurry and light sensitive.

  • Bring support on the day

    We recommend you bring a family member or friend with you for support on the day of your consultation.

  • Refrain from wearing contact lenses

    If you wear contact lenses please refrain from doing so at least 24 hours prior to your consultation and if possible bring a fresh pair of contact lenses in their packaging along with you.

  • Bring your latest prescription

    Please bring your latest prescription with you, as well as the glasses you currently wear.

  • Bring your sunglasses

    Please remember to bring your sunglasses with you to your appointment.

Laser Eye Surgery in Southport

  • LASIK eye surgery in Southport

    LASIK is the most commonly performed laser eye surgery procedure and involves the use of two technologically advanced lasers. The first laser creates an ultra-thin flap on the outer layers of the cornea, which is gently lifted by the surgeon to reveal the inner layers of the cornea. A second laser corrects your eye prescription, which takes between a number of seconds to 2 minutes, and the flap is then replaced and acts as a protective layer to allow the eye to heal naturally.
