Originally from Poland, Aleksandra visited our state of the art clinic in Belfast to have vision correction surgery.

Wearing glasses from the ages of 11 or 12, Aleksandra has grown up with visual impairments, and was eager to get visual freedom. Finding that growing up as a glasses wearer was uncomfortable and couldn’t enjoy her holidays as she would have to swap between her glasses and sunglasses, this impacting her overall enjoyment.

Speaking to us after her surgery Aleksandra stated “my vision now is brilliant”. She now enjoys life glasses free, waking up in the morning and being able to see, describing that she now is “seeing the world”.

She enjoyed a holiday to the fullest as she no longer has to worry about wearing glasses, and swapping between them and her sunglasses. Saying that “this is a game changer”.
